Daniel R Walsh brings nearly 30 years of technical sales, marketing business development, alliance management and systems integration experience to Total Trust Solutions Limited, where he assists clients in identifying and forging strategic partnerships, designing and implementing marketing plans, channel development and evaluating and pursuing sector opportunities.

Prior to joining Total Trust Solutions Limited as Managing Director, Dr. Walsh held a number of senior management positions at OmniPerception Limited, Hitachi Europe, Utimaco Safeware GmbH and a number of other IT security technology companies.

He presently assists a number of technology and biometrics companies working in the eID, ePassport and other identity markets. He is particularly involved with ePassport interoperability testing, and has chaired numerous conferences and workshops for eBorders, ICAO, IFSEC and other security and data protection conferences.

Most recently, he led OmniPerception's efforts to develop and support integrated security solutions for prominent homeland security-related projects, particularly in the areas of biometrics, real-time alerting and notification, RFID and security incident management and other management systems, security, intelligence and information sharing.

He also previously was Principal Consultant at Hitachi Europe Limited Information Technology Security.

OmniPerception's technical marketing efforts and public sector sales in the areas of Biometrics and mobile applications, performance and scalability. He has also managed OmniPerception's projects focused on systems integration, alliance & partnership development, proposal management, account management, management development programmes and sales consulting.

Dr. Walsh is a recognised expert in devising and building operational program infrastructure for information technology and IT security projects. He also has extensive experience in developing sales support, marketing, technical, and training materials. He is a Board Member of the International Association for Biometrics, a group of more than 100 biometrics organisations, government bodies and academia, public agencies, and non-profit organisations.

Dr. Walsh is a graduate of Stafford University and has previously studied at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.
